The City of Lebanon Receives $3 Million in Roadway, Bridge and Trail Grants

The City of Lebanon has been awarded two separate State grants totaling $3 million that will continue efforts to improve key infrastructure. The City received a $1 million ODOT Safety Funds grant to construct a new multi-use paved path along the N. Broadway corridor. This separate path will be constructed from Fire Station 41 up to Miller Road, and will support the removal of the on-road bike lane. The path will connect additional neighborhoods and schools to the City’s extensive trail network, including connections to Downtown Lebanon and the Little Miami Scenic Trail.  The City also received a $2 million State grant through ODOT’s Municipal Bridge Program to support the replacement of the Kingsview Drive bridge in the Kingsview Business Park. This bridge connects the City’s multiple business park areas and is a key piece of infrastructure. Both projects are scheduled for construction in 2024.
