Lebanon Civic Fund Supported By Warren County Foundation

Press release prepared by the Warren County Foundation

The Warren County Foundation continues to work with the City of Lebanon on a variety of projects.  The Foundation is providing the administrative backroom support for the new Lebanon Civic Fund.  The Fund was established by council to manage charitable contributions for the City.  The Fund supports area non-profits that make a difference to Lebanon and its citizens.

The Fund Committee recently met and reviewed proposals for grants.  Six grants totaling $17,500 were approved and awarded to: Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce; LHS After Prom; Lebanon Theatre Company; Optimist Club; Rotary Club of Lebanon and SAFE on Main.

The committee reviewed the utility credits approved in 2023 for $102,500 to the following organizations: Family Promise of Warren County; Humane Association of Warren County; Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce; Lebanon Council of Garden Clubs; Lebanon Public Library; Lebanon Theatre Company; SAFE on Main; and Warren County Historical Society.  It should also be noted that the City of Lebanon provides city services to non-profits and programs totaling close to $60,000 per year.

Foundation President & CEO Tom Seddon noted: “The Lebanon Civic Fund is another example of local government working with local non-profits.  We truly appreciate our relationship with the City of Lebanon.”  You can address inquiries or questions to the Warren County Foundation at 513-934-1001 or e-mail info@warrencountyfoundation.org.
