The City is accepting applications for the Civic Donation Program, now through December 31.
The Civic Donation Program was created to support various non-profit organizations and groups in order to enhance the economic vitality and quality of life of the community. As provided in Chapter 137 of the Codified Ordinance, please consider the following criteria for support:
(A) Any organization seeking support or funding from the city shall be designated not-for-profit, and incorporated under the general corporation laws of the State of Ohio.
(B) Organizations must provide a copy of their classification as a 501(c)(3) status organization from the United States Department of the Treasury.
(C) Donation requests shall include as a minimum:
(1) A detailed description of the program or event that will benefit from the donation.
(2) A description of the positive impact the program or event will have on the quality of life of the community including the number of residents who will be positively impacted.
(3) An explanation of the financial impact the donation will have on the organization's ability to execute the program or event. This explanation shall include a summary of the organizations budget and major sources of funding.
