The City of Lebanon is accepting applications for the position of City Engineer. As the County seat for Warren County, Lebanon offers an outstanding opportunity to be part of a growing community that provides a high quality of life for our residents and businesses. The City Engineer will provide professional leadership and management of the City’s Engineering Division and Facility Maintenance Division, consisting of a $9 million annual Capital Improvement Program and six full-time personnel. This position includes managing all facets of roadway and traffic engineering projects, water and sewer infrastructure projects, storm water, private development review, construction management and inspection.
The City Engineer will serve as a critical member of the City’s management team. Qualified candidates should hold a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering through an ABET accredited university, at least eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience as a Professional Civil Engineer in either the public or private sector, possess a State of Ohio Professional Engineer’s License, and have outstanding communication and public service skills.
