About the Municipal Judge and Magistrate

Judge Martin E. Hubbell

Judge Martin E. Hubbell was elected to a six-year term beginning January 1, 2022.  Previously, Judge Hubbell served as a Magistrate and Acting Judge for his now retired predecessor, Judge Mark R. Bogen.

Judge Hubbell graduated from Waynesville High School, the University of Texas at Austin, and the University of Dayton School of Law.  He is licensed to practice in all Ohio State Courts and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and has maintained a law practice in Lebanon since 2001. 

Judge Hubbell is a past Board President of Warren County Community Services, Inc., Warren County’s largest non-profit organization.  He continues to serve on the Board for the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of many other local community organizations.

Prior to his legal career, Judge Hubbell was a four-time Ohio State swimming champion for Waynesville High School, and was an All-American swimmer at the University of Texas, captaining their 1996 NCAA Champion swimming team. He was honored to represent the United States at the 1994 Goodwill Games in St. Petersburg, Russia, and is a proud member of the U.S. Swimming National Team Alumni. 

Judge Hubbell lives in Lebanon with his wife.

Magistrate Paul R. Revelson

Paul R. Revelson is currently a partner in Herdman, Summers, Revelson & Cesta, LLP and Title 1st LLC. Mr. Revelson is also the Vice President of 1st National Bank and serves on its Board of Directors.  He previously served as the prosecutor for the City of Lebanon and the Solicitor for the Village of South Lebanon.  He graduated from Lebanon High School and went on to obtain his undergraduate degree in Marketing from Miami University. Mr. Revelson attended law school at the University of Dayton School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review.
