There is a wide variety
of recreation programs available to the community. Lebanon is home
to the largest YMCA in the country, the Ralph J. Stolle Countryside
YMCA, that offers youth and adult programs year-round. Additionally,
the City of Lebanon maintains
an excellent network of athletic fields that are used by various
recreational sports organizations. These programs include an adult
softball league, sponsored by the YMCA, youth baseball and softball
that is organized through the Lebanon Baseball and Softball Association
(LBSA), several youth soccer organizations (LYSA), and youth football,
which is organized through the Lebanon Warrior Youth Football Association
(LWYFL). These programs offer recreation opportunities for thousands
of kids and adults each year.
Participate in the 3rd annual Red Hot Blues Run on Saturday, August 2, and enjoy a great race in a lively atmosphere. The race is held in conjunction with the City's annual Blues Festival and all proceeds go towards improving Lebanon's park system.
