The Lebanon Fire Division operates two stations to respond to emergencies in the city.  Fire Station 41 is located at 20 W. Silver St. which is just west of N. Broadway Ave.  Station 41 houses two engines, two medic units and the ladder truck.  The fire station staffs the engine and medic around the clock.  Four Firefighter Paramedics / EMT's staff the engine (E41) and two Firefighter Paramedic or EMT's staff the medic unit (M41).  The medic unit and engine are staffed with at least one Paramedic and both units are ALS equipped.
The engine is equipped with a wide range of firefighting, rescue and EMS equipment. The engine has at least one officer, usually a career Lieutenant to be in charge of the crew.  The Firefighters train each day to perfect the skills necessary to operate all the equipment on the apparatus safely and efficiently.
The medic unit is the busiest unit in the fleet, it accounts for about 70% of our business.  The medic unit is equipped with the most technological advanced equipment including a LifePak15, which can detect heart attacks, defibrillate, pace, give heart rate, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and oxygen saturation levels.
