Water Quality Report
About the Water Quality Report
In 1996, Congress amended the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). Among other things, this amendment added a provision requiring that all community water systems deliver to their customers a brief water-quality report annually. The Consumer Confident Reports (CCR) summarize information that your water system already collects to comply with regulations.

Report Information
The CCR includes information on your source water, the levels of any detected contaminants, compliance with drinking water-rules (including monitoring requirements), and some educational language. A CCR is an opportunity to communicate the value of water (both as a product and as a service), to promote wise use, to build community trust and customer satisfaction, and to encourage investment in resource protection and infrastructure.
