The City
of Lebanon Wastewater Department provides our customers with high
quality sanitary sewer service in an environmentally sound and cost-effective
manner. This is accomplished through the maintenance and operation
of over 81 miles of pipe and five pump stations in the sanitary
sewer collection system. The collection system transports the wastewater
flows to the Wastewater Treatment Plant that is owned and operated
by the City. The Treatment Plant also accepts and treats flow from
South Lebanon.
The City of Lebanon takes great pride in operating
a quality wastewater system. A 4.0 million gallon flow equalization
basin has recently been constructed to accommodate additional flows
coming into the system during storm events. This is just one project
identified in the City's Sanitary Sewer System Master Plan that
will be constructed to meet the needs of a growing community.
