maintenance of the City’s roadways and public park areas to ensure public safety and enhanced
quality of life for the community. The department maintains over

maintaining over 300 acres of public park space. The department
is also responsible for the maintenance of all of the City’s
vehicles.
The Public Works Department provides curb-side leaf collection
services in the fall and snow plowing operations during inclement

The department utilizes a variety of equipment to provide these
services including two ton and one ton dump trucks, street sweeper,
asphalt repair equipment, and an array of mowers. The
City also owns a salt brine unit that allows the City to pro-actively
pre-treat the roadways in anticipation of snow / ice events. The
department continues
